The Anglo-Saxon Runes are the expanded 32 rune Futhorc of Britain. The names and meanings of the runes come from the Old English Rune Poem. They are related to but different from the Germanic Elder Futhark and the Scandinavian Younger Futhark. The class on March 1 will be a general overview of these runes and their cultural context.
For those interested in going beyond and learning to use the runes and the OERP in divination, a series of classes will be offered. You will be able to learn about each of the Anglo-Saxon Runes and create your own rune set. The classes will build on each other. It will be necessary to make a commitment to yourself to attend the entire series. Come to the first class for an overview of the Runes.
Suggestion: Bring a journal or spiral notebook or binder.
